Our History
The Leonard Family has been serving Albuquerque, New Mexico for automotive maintenance service and mechanical auto repair since 1934. Our story began with H.E. "Fatz" Leonard, who moved to Albuquerque from Indiana in 1918. With a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Fatz Leonard started his business with just $4.00, fixing a flat tire and eventually partnering with R.W. Earnhart to form Earnhart and Leonard.
Through hard work and wise use of profits, the business grew, and Fatz became a respected business leader in Albuquerque. His sons, Don and Travis, continue the legacy, providing exceptional auto repair services to the community.
