Our History
Our story began in the 1800s when the Busch family immigrated to the United States from Germany. Fred Busch started growing vegetables on Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis, and later, his sons Bill, Fred, and Barney Busch moved the business to Golden Valley, Minnesota, where they began growing flowers. Len Busch, the third generation, earned his degree in Floriculture at Ohio State University and started his own business, Len Busch Roses, in Plymouth, MN, in 1965. Today, the business is led by Len's son, Patrick Busch, who, along with his wife Diana and their four children, plays an active role at Len Busch Roses.
