Photography and art are my love and my calling. Meeting my muse, the lovely Rebecca, forever changed my life. Falling in love allowed me to open my eyes and experience the love of others through my lens in a new way. A month before our son was born, I decided to focus on my family, and to do what I love through Photos by Rich Burkhart. With an MFA in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), my style of shooting is artistic/photojournalistic. I capture moments as they happen but also give direction. I know these events, that I am privileged to attend are some of the most important days in your life. I take great pride in every image that I capture.
