Restoring Wholeness to Broken Lives

At Restored Life Counseling, we are a Christian nonprofit counseling, coaching, and research center dedicated to helping individuals overcome their deepest personal and relationship challenges. Our compassionate team of counselors, coaches, and researchers work together to provide affordable services and resources that contribute to achieving sobriety, mental health, and relational health.

Our Mission and Vision

Our vision is to achieve restoration to wholeness for all. Our mission is to provide affordable services and resources to clients and treatment partners that contribute to achieving sobriety, mental health, and relational health. We strive to make our services accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.

Our Core Values

We are a Christian organization, affirming that Jesus is our Savior. We are Protestant, evangelical, and unfinished, recognizing that traditions may not be fully Scriptural. We are integrative, considering insights from modern science that do not contradict the plain teaching of Scripture. We are curious, respecting and learning from our brothers and sisters in the faith. We are loving, believing that all people are created in God's image and deserve equal love and respect. We are traditional toward marriage and gender, affirming Biblical marriage between one biological man and one biological woman and recognizing the true gender of an individual as revealed by their anatomy at birth.

Our Services

We offer a range of services, including counseling, coaching, and research, to help individuals overcome personal and relationship challenges. Our team of experienced counselors and coaches work with clients to identify the root causes of their challenges and develop personalized strategies for overcoming them. We specialize in issues related to anxiety, depression, couples counseling, porn or sex addiction, infidelity, and betrayal trauma.

Our Resources

We offer a range of free resources, including our Personal Challenges Survey, The Seeds Cycle, Things to Try to Improve Mood, Things to Try to Improve Relationships, and Things to Try to Overcome Chaos. We also provide recommended reading and podcasts, recovery groups, and job and internship opportunities.

Our Team

Our team is led by President/Executive Director Dan Stephens and a board of directors comprising Tim Runcie, Adam Halvorsen, Joe Ensley, and Skylar Stephens. We are committed to continuous improvement, practice-based evidence, and leadership, and we value affordable services and resources, continuous improvement, and practice-based evidence.

Our Strategic Plan

Our current strategic plan includes hiring more clinicians, launching our Pastoral Coaching Program, publishing the findings from our Personal Challenges Survey, developing more free online and self-serve resources, promoting and publishing the Recovery Outcomes Study, and developing more church partnerships.
