A Collaborative Space for Artistic Growth and Expression

SAFEhouse Arts is a unique and dynamic cooperative art space in San Francisco's Mission District. Our mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive arts community by providing a platform for artistic expression, fostering new talent, and empowering local artists.

Since our founding in 2007, we have nurtured the creative voices of hundreds of artists through our artist residency programs, workshops, and performances. We believe in the transformative power of the arts and strive to make a positive impact on San Francisco's arts landscape.

1. Artistic Residencies

We offer residencies to individual artists and performance groups in various disciplines, providing space, resources, and mentorship.
Our renowned RAW program has supported over 800 artists and continues to nurture new talent.

2. Workshops and Classes

We host a diverse selection of workshops for adults and children covering a range of artistic disciplines, such as yoga, flamenco, and artistic journaling.
