We are a faith-based preschool committed to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for children to grow and flourish. Our vision is to deliver excellence in developmentally appropriate preschool education in an accredited, Christian environment. At Learning Ladders Preschool, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a personalized approach to learning.

About Us

We are a ministry of Mandarin United Methodist Church, dedicated to serving the needs of young children and their families. Our mission is to provide quality preschool education in a safe and loving environment, empowering children to reach their highest potential. We believe in building values and skills that ensure their future well-rounded success.

Accreditation

We are proud to maintain accreditation through the Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools (FCCPSA) and the National Council for Private Schools (NCPSA). Our accreditation process includes a detailed self-study, financial audit, program assessment, staff and director evaluations, parent and staff surveys, and a 3-day site visit. We have also been granted Gold Seal Accreditation and Religious Exemption.

Diverse Learning Environments

We offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of infants, toddlers, twos, threes, and fours. Our infant/toddler curriculum focuses on sensory play, loving and nurturing environments, and hands-on exploration. Our twos program introduces children to educational activities such as identifying numbers, colors, shapes, and letters. Our threes program continues to build on these essentials, teaching children to recognize and recite the alphabet, write letters and numbers, and recognize basic geometric shapes and colors.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)

Florida was one of the first states to offer free pre-kindergarten for all 4-year-olds, regardless of family income. Our VPK program prepares early learners for success in kindergarten and beyond, using educational materials corresponding to various stages in a child's development.

Employment Opportunities

We are seeking energetic and nurturing teachers to join our team. School hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Schedules vary, and we follow the Duval County School calendar. The ideal candidate will have completed the mandatory DCF hours, have a minimum of one year's experience working with young children, and be willing to commit to at least one school year.

Get Involved

At Learning Ladders Preschool, we believe in the importance of family involvement. We offer various events and activities throughout the year, including mid-year and end-of-year programs, VPK graduation ceremonies, and additional activities. We invite you to join us and be a part of your child's early educational journey.
