Meet the Wolfs

Jim Wolf, co-founder of Wolf Metals, has been in the metal manufacturing business for over 40 years. Starting out as a sheet-metal worker, Jim built up the demand for his work through personal projects in his brother's garage. Eventually, the demand for his work outgrew the available time and space, and Jim was able to turn his passion into a successful business. He credits the success of his business to the trust of Jim Grote, owner of Donato's pizza, who trusted the Wolf brothers to make the metal parts needed for pizza production throughout the chain's early years.

Mike Wolf, Jim's oldest son, is now the plant manager at Wolf Metals. Growing up with the business, Mike began sweeping the floors and helping out in any way he could as a child. He continued to work part-time throughout his college experience at The Ohio State University and became a full-time employee after graduation. Mike takes pride in keeping Wolf Metals on the cutting edge by incorporating new technology into the plant.

Pat Wolf, Jim's youngest son, has been working in the shop since he was six years old. By the time he was eight, Pat had learned how to run the company's first laser machine. After graduation, Pat became a full-time employee and attended trade school for four years. He has a tremendous ability to fabricate any part that needs to be made and has mastered the new style equipment that requires great knowledge and patience when it comes to using the computers on these machines.
