What bike types are available?
We offer electric bikes, city bikes with gears, and performance bikes. Electric models are ideal for hills, while city bikes suit casual riders, and performance bikes cater to experienced cyclists.
Can I return bikes at different locations?
Yes, you may return bikes at different locations for a $25 restocking fee. This includes transfers between our Golden Gate Park and Fishermans Wharf locations.
What safety equipment is included?
All rentals include helmets (required under 18), locks, water holders, and front handlebar bags. Performance bikes additionally receive repair kits with tubes and tools.
Are children's bike options available?
We provide baby seats, trailers, tag-a-longs, and tandems for young riders. Electric bikes require riders to be at least 13 years old with parental consent.
What happens if bike issues occur?
Contact our 24/7 emergency hotline (415-346-BIKE ext 9) for immediate assistance. We provide on-route support or replacement bikes when necessary.
How do I get to your locations?
Our Fishermans Wharf locations connect via Powell/Mason Cable Car (Bay St.) or Market St. Trolley (1 block from Taylor St. location).
