Our Story
Our journey began in 2009 when Mike Thorp, after 27 years of working his way up through the ranks of local GM dealerships, decided to take control of his future and the financial security of his family. He established Superior Auto Repair in a rented, single-bay warehouse-style shop with a small office/customer waiting area. The original goal was to open a small repair facility where he could work one-on-one with customers and provide large dealership quality at an independent price.
Over the years, our customer base grew, and we moved to a larger, rented space in 2011. However, our mission remained the same - to provide quality maintenance and repair services in a clean, comfortable, friendly environment where customers are treated like a member of the family. In 2016, we took another leap of faith and built a well-planned, centrally located facility with room to grow. Today, we are proud to have a 12-bay facility with a sunken alignment rack, and our team has grown from 2 to 12. Business is continuing to grow, and long-term relationships are being made each and every day.

Our professional repair services include brake replacement and machining, engine mechanical diagnostics and repair, computer control diagnosis, ABS brake repairs and diagnosis, transmission repair and/or replacement, electrical systems service and repair, steering and suspension services, heating and cooling services, alternators, starters, and ignition service, and air condition service and repair. We also offer same-day service on most vehicles, comprehensive vehicle inspections, complimentary customer shuttle, discounted rental cars, free local pick-up and delivery, clean, family-friendly facilities, a children's play area, comfortable customer waiting area, and free Wi-Fi.
