Anderson Consulting Engineers, Inc. (ACE) is a water resources engineering consulting firm located in Fort Collins, Colorado, dedicated to providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to our clients' water resource engineering projects. With over 30 years of experience, ACE has been providing a full range of water resources services to our clients since 1986.

Our Team
Our team of experienced engineers and technical staff is led by a Senior Staff who are registered professionals with advanced degrees and/or education in their fields. Our staff consists of 13 engineers, 10 of whom are Registered Professional Engineers in Colorado, and five Certified Floodplain Managers. Our continuity of Senior Staff ensures management and oversight consistency throughout the duration of our projects.
Meet Our Senior Staff
- Gregory J. Koch, P.E. CFM, President: With over 35 years of experience managing and conducting hydraulic, hydrologic, floodplain, sediment transport, geomorphologic, and urban drainage studies.
- Aaron M. Hansen, P.E. CFM, Vice President: With a Bachelor's degree from CSU, he is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and is a Certified Floodplain Manager.
- Brian A. Smith, P.E. CFM, Principal Engineer: With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, he is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and Nebraska, and is a Certified Floodplain Manager.
- Jamis D. Darrow, P.E. CFM, MBA, Principal Engineer: With a Bachelor's, Master's, and MBA degrees from Colorado State University, he is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and Utah, and is a Certified Floodplain Manager.
