Welcome to Harry's Restaurant, a Houston institution that has been serving the community for over 70 years. Our story begins in the 1960s when Johnny Platsas, a Greek immigrant, made Houston his home and met his Ecuadorian wife, Patricia. The Platsas family's acquisition of Harry's began in the early 1990s, and they breathed new life into this Montrose institution. With a focus on incorporating dishes that reflect their heritage, while still maintaining the local comfort food that has made Harry's iconic with the locals and downtown clientele.
