Taste the Southern Comfort in Every Bite

West Egg Cafe is a beloved institution in the heart of Atlanta's Westside, nestled conveniently among Midtown, Georgia Tech, Atlantic Station, Buckhead, and Downtown. Since 2004, our mission has been to serve the best of Southern comfort food in a modern and energetic environment. We're proud to offer a full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch, with a full bar to complement our delicious menu. Our coffee shop area features a comfortable lounge, free Wi-Fi, a walk-up counter with baked goodies, and a full coffee menu serving locally-roasted Kaldi's Coffee (formerly known as Dancing Goats Coffee and previously Batdorf & Bronson).

Our story began when husband-and-wife team Jennifer and Ben Johnson, both former attorneys, left their careers in law to pursue their passion for hospitality. Shelley Sweet, a dedicated restaurant professional, joined forces with them to bring West Egg to life. With over a decade of experience, our team has honed their skills in some of Atlanta's best restaurants. Chef Andrew Smith, our Executive Chef, brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our kitchen, combining his Southern roots with innovative twists on classic dishes.

At West Egg, we're committed to serving Southern comfort food with a modern twist. Our menu features a range of mouth-watering options, from eggs to shrimp and grits to biscuits and gravy. We're known for our build-your-own biscuit menu, with options to suit any taste. And for those looking for a quick bite, our to-go menu is designed to satisfy your cravings.
