Our Story
Big Wave Dave was founded by Dave Carvalho, a native Hawaiian who has been surfing for over 40 years. Born and raised on the East Side of Oahu, Dave began his surfing career in 1976 and started competing in 1988. With years of experience and a deep passion for the sport, Dave has dedicated himself to sharing his love of surfing with others.
