We strive to instill the following characteristics in our students: openness to growth, intellectual competence, religiosity, love, and a commitment to doing justice.
Our History
Jesuit High School of New Orleans was established in 1847 as part of the College of the Immaculate Conception. Initially located on Baronne and Commons Streets, the school later relocated to its current site on Carrollton Avenue between Palmyra and Banks Streets in 1926. Since then, the school has grown from a small group of students to over 1,500 students, making us one of the largest Jesuit high schools in the country.
