Refurbishment
Our refurbishment process involves collecting, sorting, and selecting the best computers for reuse. Through this process, we are able to repurpose computers, laptops, monitors, and other devices for discounted prices to our community. Our refurbished computers include a 1-year hardware warranty, providing our customers with peace of mind and a reliable technology solution.
Data Destruction
At CACRC, we understand the importance of protecting personal data. That's why we offer data destruction services, certified by the Responsible Recycling Practices program. Our data destruction process is designed to meet the latest industry standards, including NIST 800-88 R1 and DOD 5520.22-M. We use ADISA-certified erasure software to ensure that all data is securely erased from devices.
Business Pickup
We also offer a business pickup service for companies and organizations looking to recycle their electronic waste. Our team will pick up your electronics and ensure that they are properly recycled and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
History
CACRC was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1996 and is one of the first non-profits in the country to become R2 & RIOS certified. Over the years, we have partnered with various organizations and government agencies to promote responsible recycling and sustainability. Our partnerships have allowed us to reuse and recycle over 1,500 tons of electronic discards annually.
