Our History
What started as a passion for food and entertaining from a kitchen in a garage, Mitchell's Catering & Events has been dedicated to crafting the very best food since the beginning. Our well-earned reputation for impeccable service over the years allowed every one of our clients to have complete confidence that their parties and events would be executed seamlessly.
Our Team
Our team is led by CEO and Owner David Casteel, who began his career in food and entertaining at the age of 8 in his parent's bakery. His love of great food won out over his performing endeavors, and his performances now are considered the finest catered affairs throughout the Carolinas. Our Executive Chef, Chelsie Mueller, is a North Carolina native with extensive experience in the culinary industry. She is the first female executive chef at MitchellCasteel in over 20 years and earned her degree from the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham.
