Our Mission

The Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association (SNJGA) was founded in 1977 with a mission to introduce children of all ages to the game of golf and help junior golfers develop golf and life skills through the game of golf. Our mission is to teach children of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic background, the importance of honesty, integrity, and perseverance through the game of golf.

Our History

Southern Nevada has a deep history when it comes to junior golf. Over the years, the area has produced dozens of golfers who went on to earn college golf scholarships and several who went on to play on the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour. Other top junior golfers have gone on to successful careers and enjoy golf as a lifetime hobby. Since the early 1970's, the leadership and volunteers of the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association have been helping to positively shape the lives of Southern Nevada youngsters both on and off the course, no matter their economic or socio backgrounds. Thousands of kids have learned the game of golf and the life skills and character traits it instills.

Our Program

Our program is designed to provide junior golfers with a supportive and fun environment to learn and improve their golf skills. We offer various services, including:

• Tournaments: We organize and participate in junior golf tournaments throughout the year, providing a competitive platform for junior golfers to test their skills and compete against their peers.
• Instruction: We provide access to quality instruction and coaching, led by experienced teachers and golfing professionals.
• Youth on Course: We partner with Youth on Course, a program that provides junior golfers with access to golf courses in Southern Nevada and the opportunity to play golf with other junior golfers.
• Operation 36: We offer Operation 36 lessons, a program designed to introduce junior golfers to the game of golf in a fun and engaging way.
• Scholarships: We offer scholarships to junior golfers who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to the game of golf.

Membership

We offer various membership options to suit the needs of junior golfers and their families. Our membership options include:

• Basic Membership: This membership provides access to our tournaments and programs, as well as to our online platform for communication and updates.
• Tour Membership: This membership provides all the benefits of the Basic Membership, plus access to our tournaments and priority registration for tournaments.
• Tour Plus Membership: This membership provides all the benefits of the Basic and Tour Memberships, plus priority registration for tournaments, priority access to instruction and coaching, and special perks and discounts.
