Wealthy Street Bakery & Hall Street Bakery have a rich history that spans over two decades. Founded in 2002 by Jim and Barb McClurg, our story began with a vision to bring warmth and community to the neighborhoods we now call home. After serving the community for many years, Jim and Barb passed the torch to Andy Havemeier, a local entrepreneur with a passion for baking. Under Andy's leadership, both bakeries continued to thrive, and in 2014, Hall Street Bakery was born.
Years of hard work and dedication have come to fruition, and in the summer of 2023, Andy and his wife, Ondrea, brought their vision to reality, acquiring both bakeries. Andy's connection to the Grand Rapids community runs deep, having grown up on the city's southeast side. Today, he is proud to be back in the area as a business owner and homeowner, just two blocks away from the Hall Street location.
