At Blackwater Coffee Co., we're passionate about two things above all others: coffee and community. We exist to create and elevate both in Clovis, New Mexico, and we're dedicated to enriching the lives of everyone we come into contact with. Our mission is to provide a consistently great product, practice radical generosity, and lean into opportunities to deepen relationships. We believe in serving not only the most delicious coffee but doing it in a way that is genuinely kind, prompt, and approachable.

Our Story

Blackwater Coffee Co. was founded in 2016 by Maggie and Micah Lansford, a local family who met in college at Texas Tech University. After developing a love for coffee and business, they returned to Clovis, Micah's childhood home, to open a coffee shop next to his family's pharmacy, Roden Smith Pharmacy. With a vision to bring people together and serve the highest quality, best coffee, the adventure began! Today, we continue to pour into our business, staff, and community daily, and we're honored to be a part of such a wonderful community.

At Blackwater Coffee Co., we take our coffee seriously. We source our beans from Red Rock Roasters in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and our skilled and knowledgeable staff is dedicated to crafting the perfect cup every time. From pour-overs to espresso shots, we do it right. We believe that coffee is a skill, and our baristas know their craft well.
