Who We Are
Auto Parts of Shelby (APS) was founded in Shelby, North Carolina, in 1986. Our parent company, Cleveland County Auto Brokers, Inc., has been in business for over thirty years. APS is a full-service salvage yard, and we are proud to be a part of the Cleveland County Auto Brokers group of companies, which includes our sister company, AACE Auto Salvage, and two self-service yards, Auto Parts U Pull of Shelby & Charlotte.
Jerry Allen, the current President of Cleveland County Auto Brokers, Inc., has been involved in the automotive salvage industry since he was a young boy. Jerry's passion for cars and his ability to find, hire, train, and retain honest people have been instrumental in the success of our business.
Chris Clark, our General Manager, has worked with Jerry for over two decades. Chris has an extensive understanding of the automotive used parts and recycling business. Together, Jerry and Chris are committed to constantly looking for ways to offer more to our valued customers.

Quality of Products and Services
The reviews for Auto Parts of Shelby are mixed, with some customers expressing satisfaction with their experience and others expressing dissatisfaction. Some customers have reported finding what they needed at a good price, with helpful service. For example, Eric Buck praised the store for having the part they needed at a good price and for having him loaded up within 10 minutes. Sie Lee reported being treated rudely by a store employee who answered the phone with an attitude and then hung up on her without providing a honest answer. Scott Clardy reported being asked to hold for nine minutes before being hung up on without being provided with any information about the part he was inquiring about.

Sie Lee reported being told that a part was damaged when the online picture showed it as being fine, and Scott Clardy reported being told that a part wouldn't ship because it wasn't "insurance quality", without being provided with any clear explanation of what that meant.
Friendly Staff
On the other hand, some customers have reported friendly and helpful service from the store staff. Melissa Carter reported that the staff member, Tiny, was a "cool dude" and that the prices were super fair. Ryan Cooper reported that Dean, the sales person, was more than helpful and courteous, and that the other staff members were also friendly and courteous.
