Our Story
Creative Academy Childcare & Camp is a family-owned and operated childcare center committed to providing high-quality education and care to children. Founded in 1979 by Renate and Jim Breakiron, our center is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that fosters emotional, social, and cognitive development in children from infancy to kindergarten age. Our philosophy is built on the idea of providing a home-school atmosphere where children can learn and grow at their own pace, with an emphasis on basic skills and creative activities.

Our Services
At Creative Academy Childcare & Camp, we offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the diverse needs of children and families. Our programs include:
- Infant care (6 weeks - 6 months)
- Toddler care (16-24 months)
- Preschool programs (2-5 years)
- Before and after-school care with transportation to area schools
- Private kindergarten
- Summer camp programs (infant-5 and 5-12 years)
- Enrichment classes, including private piano and keyboard lessons, dance classes, and voice lessons
- Music and movement classes for 2's, 3's, 4's, and 5's
- Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided in our program

Our centers are licensed by the State of Virginia Department of Social Services, and our grounds have been certified by the State Fire Marshal's office and the Health department. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our facilities and programs.
