Bay Pottery was founded by Joe and Rheba McMichael in the late 1960s, with Rheba throwing pottery in the basement and Joe delicately hand-painting each piece. Over the years, the company has evolved, relocated, and refined its pieces and glazes, but our dedication to the craft has remained unwavering. Today, the third generation of McMichaels, led by Lily, continues to run the studio, proudly providing some of the finest American craftsmanship.
