Stanley B. Robinson started the business in 1980, and in 2009, the company was sold to its current owner, Jil Strang.

Jil is dedicated to providing excellent service and is recognized as a Better Business Bureau accredited business with an A rating. She is licensed as a Sewage Enforcement Officer and has completed composting certification at the Pennsylvania State University. With a mission to exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality of excavation services and earth products in a friendly, dependable, and professional manner, we strive to gain lifelong customers and their confidence to refer us to others for services.

Our team brings over 70 years of experience to every job, no matter how large or small. With education and training in composting and sewage enforcement, we have a thorough understanding of on-lot septic systems and can handle a variety of excavation services including residential, light commercial, storm water, on-lot septic system repair, design, and installation, demolition, clearing, and hauling.

Retail Services

At Robinson's Excavating & Mulch, we offer a variety of retail services including sales and delivery of dyed hardwood mulch in black, brown, and red. We also provide natural bark mulch in triple and single ground, compost, topsoil, mushroom soil, blends, and stone.
