Welcome to Louisville Exchanger and Vessel, Inc., a specialty metal fabrication shop centrally located in the Midwest. We are a team of experienced professionals dedicated to designing and fabricating ASME code heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and process equipment in accordance with Section VIII, Division I of the ASME code. Our quality control program ensures that every project complies with the ASME code and customer specifications.

What We Do

At Louisville Exchanger and Vessel, we take pride in being one of the leading Louisville metal fabrication companies. We produce all projects from start to finish in our 20,000 square foot building, which includes a 5,000 square foot machine shop. We have complete engineering and design services, and our team has a wealth of experience in providing the process and petrochemical industries with the highest quality products on time and on budget.

Our strong customer commitment has led us to expand our services to various industries, including the heart and soul of Kentucky; distilleries, chemical plants, power plants, and food plants. We have the capability to complete projects both in-house and on-site, and we are confident in our process and products.

Services

At Louisville Exchanger and Vessel, we offer a wide range of services, including:

  • Industrial Tanks: Our team can help with tank designs, ideas, drawings, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and more. We offer cost-effective solutions and take pride in offering timely installations, meeting deadlines, meeting budgets, providing high-quality work, and always being honest and professional. Tanks are designed and fabricated in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division I, and/or API 650.
  • Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers: All heat exchangers are offered with full mechanical design complete with CAD drawings. We offer thermal design capabilities for virtually all applications. It is our preference to participate with the customer in the design process to ensure that a practical unit can be manufactured.
  • Mechanical Design: We use the latest design software to ensure that the mechanical design of your pressure vessel or heat exchanger meets the latest ASME requirements for pressure and temperature.
  • System Services: We assemble heat exchangers and vessels on packaged skids. In addition, we can mount other customer-supplied equipment such as pumps, control valves and similar components and completely pipe the assembly.
  • Welding Capabilities: We certify our welding procedures and weld operators to Section VIII of the ASME Code. Whether your process design calls for mild steel or Hastelloy, we have the personnel to make it happen. We use a variety of welding processes including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SAW.
  • Water Jet: We have an in-house water jet allowing us to design and cut any material required for any project.
  • Plate Rolling: With our plate roller, we can roll plate up to and including 10' wide x 1-3/8 thick.
