Our History
JayLynn Studios has been around since 1906 - Five generations of photography experience. We have the experience, training, and an eye for detail that is unmatched! We've conducted a wide range of photo sessions spanning from traditional, casual, elegant, specialty, group, business, unusual, outrageous or adorable. We know exactly how to best capture you at your finest.
Our Approach
We strive to make sure that every photo session is enjoyable and successful. By making each session fun, personal, and in line with our client's specifications and expectations, we ensure that all of our customers go home satisfied and proud of the finished product. About Our Photographer
Kent Shelton is a Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, and a PPA Certified Professional Photographer. He specializes in portraiture and has a passion for capturing life's precious moments and events. Kent's returning clients enjoy working with him for two main reasons: 1) He's easy to get along with. He enjoys listening to his clients' ideas and will always do his best to capture what they are envisioning. He understands that getting the best images from a professional photographer often involves developing a strong relationship of trust. He works with professional athletes and high profile business people who expect privacy. He'll never share his clients' images without their permission. 2) Amazing images. He loves what he does and his dedication to his craft shows in his images and in the industry honors he has received.
Industry Accolades
In January of 2018, Kent was nominated for a GIA (Grand Imaging Award) in the General Portrait Category. Out of 5800 entries from professional photographers across the globe in the International Photographic Competition, his image was chosen as one of the top ten portraits. In 2010, he received the IPPA- Photographer of the Year Award for having the best four images entered in the annual photographic competition that year.
