Creating Solutions. Creating Success.

At KidWorks Therapy Services, we are committed to creating solutions that allow each child to create their own success in a fun, challenging, and safe environment. Our therapy process focuses on the emotional and social development within a relationship-based model utilizing DIR/Floortime principles.

Our Story

KidWorks Therapy Services was established in 1999 by Rebecca Pokluda with a vision to bring together a group of experienced, passionate Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapists dedicated to family-centered, individualized care. Our clinic is housed on a tree-shaded hill in South-Central Austin that has been modified to provide optimal therapeutic intervention while, at the same time, facilitating the safe, comfortable feel of a home.

Our Services

At KidWorks Therapy Services, we offer a range of services designed to help children achieve their full potential. Our team of experienced therapists and staff are dedicated to providing family-centered, individualized care to help children overcome challenges and thrive. Our services include:

  • Occupational Therapy: Our occupational therapists work with children to develop the skills they need to succeed in daily life, including self-care, sensory integration, and fine motor skills.
  • Speech Therapy: Our speech-language pathologists work with children to develop communication skills, including speech, language, and social skills.

Our Philosophical Model: DIR

At KidWorks Therapy Services, we believe in the importance of a relationship-based model of therapy. Our therapists use the DIR (Developmental, Individual differences, Relationship-based) model to provide individualized care that meets the unique needs of each child. This model focuses on building relationships, understanding individual differences, and promoting developmentally-appropriate skills.
