From staff to clients, volunteers to donors, visitors to community partners, Trinity is a sanctuary that moves spirits, fills hearts, and challenges individuals in the best possible way. It is a place of hope, inspiration, encouragement, and even healing.

Founded in 2002, Trinity has evolved from offering various equine services to focusing solely on making a difference through Equine Assisted Therapy, Youth Mentoring, and Training. Our mission is to change lives, and we are passionate about fulfilling this mission every day.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help change lives through relationships, faith, and horses. We are committed to investing in our community and contributing to the health and growth of its members. We serve veterans who feel isolated and stuck between two worlds, desperately seeking peace after war. We work with ASD riding students who connect with their team and horse to thrive in their physical, sensory, and social worlds. We support individuals confronting the journey of dementia and Alzheimer's by helping them keep their treasured memories and relationships. Through Trinity Youth Counseling, we make a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of children every year. We are also privileged to work with organizations eager to fine-tune their leadership and team-building skills.

Our Team

At Trinity, we are proud to have a team that upholds the highest standards and best practices in the industry. Our team members eagerly maintain continuing education, clinical supervision, appropriate certifications, memberships, and training. Our mental health providers are WI licensed therapists, and our equine team is led by Katie Nelson.

Our founders, Toni Mattson, Bill Mattson, and Jan Behm, are dedicated to fulfilling our mission. Toni Mattson's debut book, "Unlikely Recruits, " shares her mission to help save veteran lives.

Equine Services

At Trinity, we partner with our horses to provide hope and healing that will help change lives. Our Equine Assisted Therapy program offers a unique and effective approach to therapy that allows individuals to build relationships with horses and learn valuable life skills. Through this program, we serve veterans, individuals with special needs, and those facing various life challenges.

Youth Development

At Trinity, we empower, inspire, guide, and challenge youth to reach their personal goals. Our Youth Mentoring program provides youth with a trusted mentor who supports and guides them on their journey. We also offer Youth Counseling, Workshops, and opportunities to become a Youth Counselor.

Professional Development

At Trinity, we are committed to building great teams and leaders so they can fully live their mission. We offer Lunch & Learn sessions, Training, and opportunities for Continued Learning. Our team-building workshops with horses allow organizations to discover the shifts needed to become an even more effective team so they will more fully live their mission.
