At Avanza, we are a leading provider of customs consulting, logistics, and international trade services. Our journey began as R.AHUMADA Consultores en Comercio Internacional, with the Customs Brokers license No.1455 granted to Ricardo Ahumada Guzman in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Over the years, we have expanded our operations to nine locations across Mexico and the United States, serving clients with tailor-made solutions for their international trade needs.

Our History

Our story began as a small customs brokerage firm in Mexico, operating under the Customs Brokers license No.1455. As we grew in reputation and expertise, we expanded our services to Monterrey and Nuevo Laredo, and later on, to the American soil counterparts in Laredo and El Paso, Texas. Today, we proudly serve our clients from 9 different locations, with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service.

Delayed Opening and Disappointing Experience

Several reviewers have expressed frustration with their experience at this location. Emanuel Miclau and Hazrat Omar both mentioned waiting for extended periods of time with no service, with Miclau stating that they were still not open at 8:15 am and Omar being told that the business was open until 8 pm but being refused service at 5 pm. Sultan Ahmad had a particularly appalling experience, stating that he checked in at 9 am and didn't get loaded until 5 pm, despite being treated poorly by staff who spoke little English.

Parking and Accessibility Issues

Andy Bourdeth and Abdiladif Abdullahi both mentioned parking issues, with Bourdeth noting that the parking was the only "bad part" of his experience and Abdullahi warning that the parking space is "very, very tight" and prone to accidents. Mile M. had a generally positive experience but mentioned that the parking spot was "little tight", but noted that the staff was helpful.

Mixed Experience and Service Issues

Andy Bourdeth had a positive experience, stating that the staff was "nice" and that he had the fastest load he'd ever experienced. However, David Scott Hoppal had a mixed experience, mentioning that the staff was "nice and polite" but that they gave him the wrong door number. Abdiladif Abdullahi noted that the staff was "nice and polite" but that the parking space was a major issue.
