Our History
Our firm was founded by Michael A. Noonan, who began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the Ohio Attorney General's office in 1977. After serving in this role for several years, Mr. Noonan joined Frostburg State University as Assistant to the President and Legal Counsel, a position he held from 1982 to 1988. In 1988, Mr. Noonan entered private practice, where he remained for two decades before joining forces with his son Beau in 2008 to form Noonan & Noonan, LLC Attorneys at Law.
Expansion and Growth
In 2009, Noonan & Noonan expanded its services to West Virginia by opening an office in Morgantown. This expansion marked an exciting new chapter for the firm, allowing us to reach a wider audience and provide our legal expertise to a broader range of clients. Our growth continued in 2014 when we welcomed licensed attorneys Sarah J. Willetts to our team. Sarah's skills and experience quickly made her an integral part of our firm, and she became a partner in the firm in 2014. In 2018, we moved our headquarters to a new location and opened our fourth office in Essex Junction, Vermont.
