Powell Power Equipment, Inc. is a family-operated business that has been serving the Powell community and its surrounding areas since 1978. Located at 7145 Clinton Highway, we have been dedicated to meeting the homeowner and commercial landscaper's needs for exceptional quality power equipment. Our doors opened in the Spring of 1979, and since then, we have endeavored to provide our customers with the best products and services available in the market.

We offer a wide range of power equipment tools from some of the country's leading brands, including America's number one selling mower, eXmark, and hand-held power tools, STIHL. We are also proud to offer a full line of battery-powered tools, a recent and promising trend that we believe in and support. Our goal is to constantly improve our service to our customers by employing well-trained technicians and the latest and best technological analysis systems. We take pride in our vast parts inventory, which benefits even those who have purchased equipment other than the brands we sell!

Our History

Powell Power Equipment, Inc. has been serving the Powell community and its surrounding areas for over 42 years. Since our inception, we have been committed to providing our customers with the best products and services available. One of our goals has been the development of local young men and women for future business persons. We have employed many promising young high school and college-aged students, and have been blessed to see them grow toward maturity and productivity.

We owe our success to our very faithful customer base, and we are so grateful to the folks of Powell and surrounding counties for their continued support. Our commitment to customer service has been the cornerstone of our business since day one, and we intend to keep it that way.

Our product range includes new products such as chainsaws, trimmers & brushcutters, blowers & shredder vacs, edgers, bed redefiner pressure washers, sprayers, hedge trimmers, multi-task tools, pole pruners, wet/dry vacuums, hand tools, lawn movers, cut-off machines, concrete cutters, augers & drills, protective & work wear, oil, lubricants, & fuels, and accessories.

Our Service Department

We service all brands that are listed on the products page plus many others. We have two Briggs & Stratton Master Service Technicians who are always ready to help you with any issues you may have with your power equipment tools. Our service department is committed to providing our customers with the best possible service, and we strive to keep our turnaround time as short as possible.
