Our Story
In the summer of 1959, Lakewood Camping Resort began its journey as a premier oceanfront campground in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Over the years, the resort has grown into one of the largest and most popular camping resorts in the country. In the fall of 2008, LCR Vacation Rentals was formed to manage all vacation rentals located within the resort. Today, we offer a varied selection of properties that cater to different tastes and preferences.

Pet-Friendly Rentals
At LCR Vacation Rentals, we understand that your furry friends are part of the family. That's why we offer pet-friendly rentals with specific rules and regulations. For a list of pet-friendly rentals, please refer to our resort map. An additional non-refundable pet fee of $100 per pet will be added to your reservation. DOGS ONLY, NO CATS! Dogs must be 40lbs or less and non-aggressive breeds only.
Booking and Policies

- Reservations are accepted for families only.
- You must be 25 years of age or older to rent.
- Reservations are subject to availability.
- Make your reservation for the entire length of your stay; an extension of your stay cannot be guaranteed.
- Check-in is 4:00 pm, and check-out is 10:00 am.
- No early check-in is available during summer months.
- All villas are non-smoking.
