Our Story

Captain Jerre's journey began on the commercial fishing vessels, where he honed his skills and developed a deep respect for the ocean. Over the years, he continued to grow his expertise, eventually leaving commercial fishing to serve as a police officer in the town of Wellfleet. Though he loved his new role, the allure of the sea remained strong. Eventually, Captain Jerre founded Specialty Charters Sportfishing to share his love of fishing with others.

Our Charter Boat

The Clinton D., named after Captain Jerre's son, is our iconic and spacious charter boat. This 24' Ablemarle, powered by a 320HP Volvo inboard engine, is equipped with top-notch gear to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The vessel boasts a range of features, including a full capacity life raft, radar, GPS, depth finder, 3 VHF plotter, stereo, and cuddy cabin head. The deck also features several live wells for keeping fish alive or cool until you're ready to take them home for dinner.
