Church Street Preschool

Church Street Preschool, established in the spring of 1974, offers a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children ages 3-5 years old. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian, and racially non-discriminatory program that fosters a love of learning through play-based exploration.

Our Philosophy

We believe in the power of meaningful play to foster a child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Our curriculum emphasizes exploration, creativity, and collaboration, allowing each child to learn at their own pace and reach their full potential.

Our Team

Our dedicated team of experienced educators is led by Head Teacher Miss Rose, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and has extensive experience in early childhood education. Our Teacher's Aide, Mrs. Dugan, brings 30 years of experience and a genuine love for children to the classroom.

Our Programs and Services

We offer a comprehensive early childhood education program designed to prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond. Our program includes:

• Cognition & Creativity: Engaging activities that foster language development, numeracy skills, and creativity through dramatic play, art, and exploration.
• Social & Emotional Development: Nurturing confidence, empathy, and social skills through group play and circle time discussions.
• Physical Development: Encouraging exploration and movement through gross and fine motor activities, including outdoor play.
