Scam-like Behavior
A reviewer had a disastrous experience with the company, where they bid on an ADS-B install job for the wrong unit and then tried to charge an inflated price 12 times higher than the initial quote. The reviewer was not informed of the issue until the job was already done, and when confronted, the company's representative, Chad, was hostile and unprofessional.
The reviewer initially noticed something was off when the airplane wasn't ready on the promised day, and after calling to inquire, was told it would be ready the next day, which ultimately turned out to be two days late. The reviewer was shocked to discover the altered price and felt that the company took advantage of them.
The reviewer also compared their experience to others who had successfully installed the same unit, with one individual reporting an install in as little as 45 minutes. The reviewer concludes that customers should avoid this company and get estimates in writing to avoid similar situations.
Disappointment and Dispute
The reviewer's experience was marked by a lack of transparency and professionalism. The company failed to communicate with them throughout the process, and when confronted with their mistakes, they became defensive and hostile. The reviewer expresses frustration and disappointment with the company's behavior, which they deem "scam-like."
The reviewer's warnings to others are clear: avoid this company at all costs, as they are unreliable and untrustworthy. The reviewer's experience is a cautionary tale about the importance of getting estimates in writing and being vigilant when dealing with companies.
