Empowering Positive Change Through Collaboration
We all experience periods of distress and uncertainty in our lives. These states can be brought on by a myriad of emotional and physical factors, which can cloud our minds and lead us to make assumptions and form false expectations. Here at Beth Rossi LCSW, CADC II Outpatient Psychotherapy, we are dedicated to helping our clients assess and address their thoughts and history. Our goal is to create change, even when it seems difficult, and to provide a helping hand when motivation may be lacking.
About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II) with a passion for helping members of my community. After moving from New York City to Oregon in 2006, I began working in social services. I have been fortunate enough to work with local agencies serving marginalized populations and have made it my mission to support client safety and encourage general health and wellness. I served as an Addictions Counselor and Supervisor in residential treatment settings while attending Portland State University where I received my graduate degree in social work. I am experienced in working from a systems perspective and strive to encourage clients to pursue their own individual health and self-care needs. I believe that emotional and physical health are closely linked and work to assist clients in advocating for their own needs within their personal systems of support. I have also spent time teaching about the complex science of substance dependence at Portland Community College's NE PDX campus.
