Safety and Security Concerns
Reviewers Cale Nightwind and Venee Roundtree shared their concerns about the safety and security of the apartment complex. Nightwind reported experiencing attempted break-ins and trash and litter everywhere, stating that they will not be renewing their lease. Roundtree's experience was even scarier, as she was woken up by a loud pop and discovered a bullet had come through her window, traveling through her walls and into the next tenant's apartment. After reporting the incident, the corporate office declined to take anything off her rent or cancel her lease.
Parking and Transportation
Matthew Montrief mentioned that traffic on Dorchester Avenue is terrible, and parking is sometimes an issue. Briana Finley and Charlie Adside also complemented the complex's parking, but with some reservations. No other reviewers mentioned parking concerns, but some praised the complex's proximity to public transportation.
Apartment Amenities and Services
Many reviewers praised the complex's cleanliness, maintenance, and staff. Specifically, Robin at the front desk was consistently commended for her exceptional service and willingness to help residents. Samantha Salas went so far as to call her a "LITERAL saint." Licensing and Approval
Mariah Mitchell was disappointed to find that the leasing office did not wear masks, and was not understanding of her lack of rental history despite having a good job and sufficient income. Keyondria Gilliyard expressed concerns about being approved as a young teacher with limited credit history.
