Our Story
Ned Baker founded the company in 1973, and shortly after, recruited his wife and later son John to help build the business. Ned and Margaret transformed the then two early 20th-century homes into the quaint office that is still home to the Ned Baker Team today. Ned was the 1980 Salem Association of Realtors President, and Margaret was the first ORPAC Realtor for Life Member. Margaret often used the phrase "kill them with kindness, " and this continues to ring in the walls of the office to this day.
