Poor Care and Neglect
Harmony Healthcare and Rehab has been criticized for providing poor care and neglecting patients. Anna Salmon's mother was diagnosed with COPD and reported suffering from a toothache for months, but the staff failed to provide adequate treatment. Despite daily complaints, they only provided a daily dose of Tylenol and failed to schedule a dentist appointment. The mother also tested positive for COVID-19 during her stay.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, some patients have reported positive experiences at Harmony Healthcare and Rehab. Brent Holman-Gomez's friend moved to the facility on hospice care and received surprisingly improved care compared to the hospital. The staff was attentive, and the rooms were pleasant. Connie Feria was also satisfied with her stay on the rehabilitation floor, praising the good food, staff, and overall care.
Unprofessional Environment
However, Jadakis Barajas and Stephanie Soto's experiences were vastly different. They described the facility as "absolutely horrible and unprofessional" with staff lacking proper training and equipment. Jadakis Barajas reported that the facility did not have sufficient medication or proper supervision, while Stephanie Soto's grandmother was left sitting in her own feces due to inadequate care.
