Our 14,200 square foot facility, located just miles from the I55 & I80 intersection, houses state-of-the-art equipment used to engineer and fabricate a wide variety of steel structures. History

M&I Steel was established in 1997 when three partners joined together to offer combined services to mechanical contractors, hence the name Mechanical & Industrial. The trio started as utility businessmen: estimating jobs, project managing, and shop coordinating, all the while running the company's logistics and finances. Their determination and resilience built a strong foundation for M&I Steel.
