We are Homefront Nursing, a Ohio-based home health care company founded by registered nurses in September 2009. Our core mission has remained consistent since our founding: to deliver high-quality home health care services directly to clients in their own homes. We identified a critical gap in care access, as many services traditionally limited to hospitals and nursing homes were unavailable for in-home delivery. Our service area covers Hamilton, Clermont, Warren, Butler, Clinton, and Montgomery counties across Ohio, with physical offices in Cincinnati, Dayton, Avon, Wilmington, Hillsboro, and Chillicothe. Our team is composed of compassionate, fully credentialed healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers, state-tested nurse aides, home health workers, and transportation staff. We serve a diverse client base, including elderly individuals requiring in-home medical care, people with developmental disabilities, clients of all ages seeking companionship, children needing home health support, and private-pay clients of all ages.
In addition to direct client care, we provide contract and per-diem nursing staffing to Cincinnati-area hospitals, nursing homes, medical centers, and other healthcare facilities. Our commitment to exceptional care has been recognized with the Butler County Board of Developmental Disability Agency Provider of the Year award in 2015. We also received the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disability Agency Provider of the Year award in 2016 for our work supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Services
In-Home Nursing
Our in-home nursing services are delivered by licensed registered and practical nurses to clients with acute, chronic, or post-acute medical needs. These services are available to elderly patients, people with developmental disabilities, children, and private-pay clients across our 6-county Ohio service area. Clients receive personalized care plans to manage symptoms, support recovery, and reduce hospital readmission risk.
Personal Care
Our personal care services support clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. These services are designed for elderly clients, people with developmental disabilities, and individuals of all ages who need additional support to live independently at home. Care plans are customized to each clients unique needs and preferences to promote dignity and autonomy.
Supported Living
Our supported living services provide scheduled or 24/7 support for individuals with developmental disabilities to build life skills and participate in community activities. Services are tailored to each clients independence goals and delivered by trained staff in the clients home or chosen community setting. This model helps clients maintain autonomy while accessing the support they need to thrive.
Transportation Services
Our transportation services provide safe, reliable travel to medical appointments, community outings, and errands for clients of all ages and ability levels. We operate handicap-accessible vans equipped to accommodate mobility aids and clients with special transportation needs. This service eliminates transportation barriers to care and community engagement for clients who cannot drive or access public transit.
Durable Medical Equipment
We supply a range of durable medical equipment to support clients at-home care and recovery needs. Available equipment includes mobility aids, wound care supplies, and other medical devices prescribed by healthcare providers. This service ensures clients have access to necessary equipment without the hassle of sourcing items from third-party vendors.
