Therapy Services
The reviews of Northwestern University's counseling services are overwhelmingly negative, with several clients expressing disappointment and frustration with the organization's administrative and therapeutic practices. Poor Communication is a recurring theme, with clients complaining about difficulty reaching the organization by phone, long wait times for responses, and inadequate communication regarding appointments and billing. Lack of Professionalism is another issue, with reviews citing unprofessional behavior from staff, including not following up on billing discrepancies and switching therapists without notice. Regrettable Experiences are common, with clients expressing disappointment and frustration with the services they received, including therapists who were deemed unhelpful and inadequate.
Exception to the Rule
However, not all reviews are negative. Two reviews stand out for their positive experiences. Exceptional Service is reported by one client, who praised their therapist, saying they were "by far the best therapist I've ever gone too." Another client had a positive experience with a student/ intern therapist, praising their skills and enthusiasm.
