At Suchman Retail Group, we've been creating special places, spaces, and experiences for over 60 years. Our story began with our founder, Clifford Suchman, who had a vision to shape the south Florida real estate market. With a pioneering spirit and vision, Cliff recognized the potential of vacant land and developed innovative solutions to create thriving communities.
Our History
In 1961, Clifford Suchman co-founded Pyms-Suchman Real Estate Co. with his friend Jack Pyms. Over the next five decades, Cliff left his mark on the south Dade area of Miami, buying, selling, brokering, and developing thousands of acres of land. He also developed a range of product types, including apartments, warehouses, and shopping centers. In 1969, Cliff started Shane-Suchman Real Estate Co. with his brother-in-law Martin Shane, focusing solely on commercial properties. In 1983, Larry Suchman joined the business after earning a degree in real estate and finance. In 1992, Cliff and Larry formed Suchman Retail Group, concentrating on commercial land, shopping center leasing, management, and development, as well as retail tenant representation.

Disappointing Experiences

Lack of Professionalism
The phone service provided by the company was described as impolite by Gabby Martinez. She was expecting some basic information about a listed property but was instead met with a curt and unhelpful conversation that ended abruptly. Federico Paskevicius also had a poor experience, waiting over a week for a promised meeting that ultimately proved to be a waste of time.
Unreliability
Gabby Martinez felt used as the person on the other end of the phone call offered no meaningful information, seemingly just to keep her on the line. Federico Paskevicius's story is even more disappointing, as he was told that a unit he was interested in was taken off the market, only to find out that the person he was dealing with was too busy attending meetings to follow through on their commitments.
