Since 1988, the Tennessee Mental Health Consumers' Association (TMHCA) has been a beacon of hope and empowerment for people living with mental illness in Tennessee. Founded by and for individuals in recovery, TMHCA stands as a voice for advocacy, providing vital services and a platform for lived experiences.

1. PeerLINK Peer Intensive Care Services
- Intensive, individualized support for individuals struggling with mental illness.
- Guided and supportive recovery plans tailored to each person's needs.
2. Peer Center Advocacy & Public Policy
- Advocacy and education for policy changes that benefit people with mental illness.
- Direct support and representation in legal, bureaucratic, and community settings.
3. Individual Placement and Support (IPS)
- Customized support for individuals in securing housing, obtaining benefits, and reintegrating into communities.
- Assistance with job training, placement, and education.
4. Trainings
- Educational workshops and training programs for professionals and community members on mental illness awareness and peer support.
5. Beers Van Gogh Center (BVG)
- A multi-faceted facility offering safe housing, peer support services, and access to evidence-based programs.
