Unethical Business Practices
The reviews of this realty company are overwhelmingly negative, with multiple reviewers expressing dissatisfaction and mistrust. The common thread among these reviews is the unprofessional and unethical behavior of the realty owner, Mr. Selby.
Conflict with Customers
Kathy Deon, a disabled senior citizen, had a particularly disturbing experience with Mr. Selby. She sold a small piece of land to him and was informed of an unexpected closing fee, amounting to over $600, just one hour before the closing. This sudden change was seen as a form of extortion, and Kathy was left with no choice but to accept the fee or cancel the closing. This incident raises concerns about Mr. Selby's behavior towards vulnerable customers.
Unprofessional Behavior
Nancy R. also had a negative experience with Mr. Selby, who, as an Ormond city commissioner, allegedly uses his position to profit personally from real estate deals. Additionally, she claimed that he does not maintain his properties to code, which raises serious questions about his business practices.
Exceptional Service, Discredited
On the other hand, Jeromie Allan had a positive experience with Mr. Selby, describing him as "incredible" and stating that he made the process "simply delightful." However, this glowing review is overshadowed by the numerous negative comments that precede it.
