Negative Experiences

Lack of Care and Attention

Several reviewers expressed frustration with the lack of care and attention from the medical providers at Balcones Psych. Cynthia Salazar praised the care and attention she received from Sabrina, but other reviewers shared negative experiences. Lauren Fechhelm described a telehealth appointment where the video kept glitching, and her husband was accused of "flipping off" the camera, leading to the doctor refusing to see him again. Daniel Wyatt had trouble getting appointments and was left with incorrect bills. Elijah Gray felt that the practice was profiting from the national drug shortage by charging patients a fee to change pharmacies. Hunter Varady cited problems with scheduling and communication, including a missed appointment and a $100 fee.
