Complaints and Issues with Management and Facilities
Several tenants have reported having a terrible experience with the management team of LJX, citing issues with responsiveness, communication, and addressing concerns. Maria Astorga shared her nightmare experience with dealing with a $12,000 bill for damages caused by a fire sprinkler incident three years ago, which she claims was mishandled by the company. She has sent over 10 emails trying to speak with someone to understand the issue, but has yet to receive a response.
Giselle reported a ceiling leak in her apartment, which was left unrepaired despite constant complaints. She received a poor rent credit and utility credit, which she claims was unreasonably low. The customer service was unprofessional, and she had an awful experience dealing with the company.
Mandi Rosen, on the other hand, had a positive experience with the maintenance team, praising their knowledge and prompt response to repairs.
Security and Safety Concerns
Some tenants have reported security concerns, including thefts and break-ins. Amy Chow shared a shocking picture of her car being broken into, and M. reported having several items stolen from their cars, including a motorcycle. Management has failed to install cameras in the parking structures, and instead relies on posting warning papers in the elevators.
Poor Response to Maintenance Issues
Jeremy Perdue experienced extensive repairs on their apartment due to exterior water damage, which took nine days to complete. He has sent several emails asking to talk to someone about the rent credit, but has yet to receive a response.
