Our History

Founded by the late Clyde S. Kirby in 1963, our agency has a rich history of providing exceptional service to our clients. Clyde Kirby, a pioneer in the industry, started his insurance career as a life insurance producer in Florida. He later relocated to Birmingham, Alabama, where he joined the Alexander and Company Insurance Agency, training under John Drew. As his knowledge and experience grew, he opened his own insurance agency, becoming the second minority-owned property and casualty insurance agency in Birmingham.
