Our History and Philosophy
Physicians Medical Group of San Jose (PMGSJ) has been serving the community of Santa Clara County for over forty years. We are an Independent Physicians Association (IPA) founded in 1980 by a group of dedicated physicians who were committed to providing quality medical care to their patients and the community. Our mission is to make quality care accessible to as many people as possible. We believe that every individual deserves exceptional medical care, regardless of their background or financial situation.
Our Team
At PMGSJ, we have a team of over 1,000 physicians with advanced training across multiple specialties. Our physicians are dedicated to delivering patient-centered care, and they are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements. We pride ourselves on our diverse team of doctors, who collectively speak over 30 languages and dialects, including Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, and other dialects), Tagalog, Hindi, Korean, Farsi, and Urdu.

We have multiple locations throughout Santa Clara County, making it convenient for our patients to receive quality care close to their homes. Our office hours vary, but we are open Monday to Friday, with extended hours on certain days.
