Managerial Issues
Several reviewers have reported poor management practices and discriminatory behavior. Sean Toles, a maintenance technician, claims he was told he would receive a pay raise and a title change after completing his training, but this was never fulfilled. Instead, he was told the company would not give him a pay raise due to the hiring of a new employee who was being paid a higher rate. Toles believes this is discrimination because the new employee is the same race as the manager, while he is a black man. He also claims he was denied a request to be transferred to a new complex managed by Cardinal Group Properties.
Customer Service Issues
Heidi Hunt had $10,000 stolen from a maintenance worker at Big Flats, a property managed by Cardinal Group Properties. She also reported a $15,000 repair needed due to a vandalized truck. Despite filing a police report and contacting management, nothing was done to address the issue.
Christopher Abbott had a poor experience trying to lease a place at Red Table Apartments in Gypsum, Colorado. The onsite office was never open, and he was repeatedly ignored by management. When he finally got an appointment with Bridget Medina, she was 20 minutes late and failed to return his calls and messages.
B. Fredericks, a frustrated customer, criticized CEO Alex O'Brien for not addressing poor customer service. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, there was no response. Fredericks was forced to deal with "Artificial Intelligence" messages from a "person" called Hunter CC, which they found unacceptable.
