At D & S Campground Lodge & Storage, we're proud to be a family-owned business in Akaska, South Dakota. We've grown from humble beginnings to offer a wide range of services that cater to outdoor enthusiasts, families, and individuals alike. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable experience for all our guests.
Our Services
We offer a variety of services to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. Our campground features 30 full-service campsites with water, sewer, and electricity, as well as 11 campsites with just electricity. Our lodging options are perfect for individuals or groups, with queen and full beds, microwaves, refrigerators, gas grills, satellite TV, and clean bathrooms. If you're looking for some adventure, we can refer you to great guide services for hunting and fishing excursions.
Camping and Outdoor Activities
Our campground is located just nine miles from the Missouri River, offering excellent fishing opportunities for walleye, northern pike, white bass, and catfish. We have electrical hookups, a post office, security lights, picnic tables, fireplaces, and telephone hookups to make your stay comfortable and convenient. If you're looking for some outdoor recreation, we're close to the Swan Creek Recreation Area with two boat docks, parking areas, and a fish cleaning station.
Lodging and Accommodations
Our Missouri River lodge is perfect for large groups or families who want to stay together. We have four bedrooms in two different buildings, each with its own unique amenities. Our lodging options include queen and full beds, microwaves, refrigerators, gas grills, satellite TV, and clean bathrooms. We also offer shared outdoor grills, tables and chairs, heat and air conditioning, and shower towels and bed linens.
Storage Units
At D & S Campground Lodge & Storage, we also offer storage units for campers, boats, and vehicles. Whether you need a place to store your RV or boat during the off-season or just need some extra space, we've got you covered.
